Why choose a distance learning course at the LSJ?

Look at the syllabus of the distance learning course you wish to take, and compare it with the syllabus of a similar course from another provider.

Look at the list of our tutors and lecturers. Compare their ability with that of the staff who will be teaching you on any other course.

Your personal tutor provides you with specific and detailed support throughout your time with us - many of our students say this aspect is one of the most important parts of the whole course.

You will have up to two years in which to complete your course. Time to fit the course around your other commitments or holidays.

We are accredited by the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council. Of accreditation, the ODL QC states:

“Accreditation includes a rigorous assessment, by independent experts, of a provider’s administration, tutorial support, educational materials, and publicity, to ensure that they meet the standards set by the Council. Accredited providers are monitored by the Council to ensure that learners continue to receive good service, and are assessed for re-accreditation at intervals of not more than three years”

If you know someone who has taken a course at the LSJ, speak to them.
